A James Bibby Sort of Page

James Bibby is a relatively new author, with only three books published (that I can locate). All three center around RONAN, a barbarian who started out as a rather sickly child, but who—when his village was destroyed by a band of thieves, cutthroats and other pretty bad guys—decided to take a "Barbarian" course at a local school.

He excelled and became the greatest barbarian of his time. Together with a drunk, and a talking donkey (with more brains his traveling companions).

Ronan meets and falls in love with the greatest female barbarian and together they get in and out of trouble. He, mostly in and she, mostly getting him out.

This is a fun series and fairly fast reading, even though the books are close to 300 pages each.

As with all good British authors, his books haven't made the leap across the Atlantic. You will want to use your ingenuity (and the following links) to search for, and order his books. Try either The Internet Bookshop UK or amazon.com UK. Be sure to use their search engines to look for BIBBY, JAMES.

Both get you the books in as fast as three days, but generally in a week or so. Their prices are listed in British £ (pounds Sterling) but you can compute the US costs by using this simple £ to $ calculator:

All covers are and remain the copyright of the artist or artists who originally gave them life. Unless, that is, some publisher paid them a few pounds more to buy the rights away. I have not obtained permission to replicate them, but hope that these fine individuals and international conglomerates recognize that I am just trying to help promote interest (and sales) in their books
